SufferFest™ most intimate Event.
SwimRun is a team based race upon which two teammates dependent of each other across multiple running and swimming distances. The course alternates between running and swimming lengths along a marked route. Athletes are required to be proficient swimmers and are expected to have read and adhere to SufferFest™ SwimRun rules and regulations.

General Rules
1. Participants of SufferFest™ Swim Run, must race in a team consisting of two persons over 18+ years of age and be competent swimmers
2. Teams must race together at a distance no greater than 10 meters apart at any point of the course
3. The finishing time is stopped and recorded only when both members are across the finish line timing system
Course
1. The race course is marked. Participants must follow the marked course
2. Participants that do not follow the marked course will be DQ
3. Teams are obliged at their best ability to help another team that have been injured or experiencing sickness
4. Any team that has abandoned the race shall report it as soon as possible to the organisation
Mandatory Items (Provided by the Organizer)
1) Swim Cap
2) Single Participant Race Number
3) Timing System
4) Race Map (participants are responsible for waterproofing)
Mandatory Equipment (Purchased by participants separately)
1) Closed toed shoes
2) Wetsuit - No wetsuits or clothing can be modified with paint or color that washes off in the water. This will result in immediate disqualification.
3) Team Leash / Tether - made from bungee cord with a max length of ten (10) meters
4) Swim Goggles
5) Buoyancy aids, max 60x100cm
6) Personal Water Storage
Recommended Equipment (Purchased by participants separately)
1) GPS watch or compass
2) Water/ Energy drink
3) Quick energy in the form of; bars or gels
4) Snorkel
5) Hand Paddles
6) Life Vest (non-restrictive, suitable for full range of motion)
7) Swim Fins - Swim fins are NOT allowed if the fin is longer than 15 cm. Measurement is from the toe to the end of the fin
Notes
1.In order to use equipment not mentioned above the participant need approval
from the organization.
2. All teams need to bring all their equipment from start to finish, if a team fails to
bring all their equipment to the finish line they will be recorded DQ (Disqualification)
